At the end of April, I celebrated my 50th. birthday at Maison du Japon.

All of the staff were wonderful from start to finish both in terms of assisting in the planning and organization and also accommodating to all of our specific needs and requirements. The decor was inspiring and created a sophisticated atmosphere which was complemented by the Jazz band that we had hired. We had the choice of either the large or a smaller room to accommodate our numbers. (The latter allows for an evening of Karaoke entertainment to complement the dinner.)

All of the staff were willing to take delivery of centerpieces, desert etc. at times which may have been inconvenient to them and facilitated the organizing of the event.

The food was wonderful as always, and the staff were fantastic both in terms of service and being very pleasant and friendly. It was very nice to be able to bring in our choice of desert and we loved the personal touch of the dinner and beverage menus being personalized to the occasion.

The event was such a success, that less than six months later, we are planning a large end of year staff party for my husband's staff.

We would greatly recommend Maison du Japon for any type of event or for a wonderful lunch or dinner.
